We sell our bulk gravel by the bobcat scoop, and 1 scoop of gravel will cover approximately  60-70 square feet 2 inches deep. 

To determine how much gravel is required for a 2 inch layer, figure the square footage of the bed by measuring the average length and width of the bed. Multiply the length by the width to figure the total square footage of the bed.  Divide the total square footage by 65.  The result will be the number of scoops of gravel you will need! 

(If you don't need that much we will also sell the gravel by the 5 gallon bucket!)

We sell our bulk mulch by the bobcat scoop.  One scoop of mulch will cover approximately 75-85 square feet 3 inches deep

To determine how much mulch is required for a 3 inch layer, figure the square footage of the bed by measuring the average length and width of the bed.  Multiply the length by the width to figure the total square footage of the bed.  Divide the total square footage by 80.  The result will be the number of scoops you will need!
